12    <code class="command">ALTER OPERATOR CLASS</code> changes the definition of
13    an operator class.

15    You must own the operator class to use <code class="command">ALTER OPERATOR CLASS</code>.
16    To alter the owner, you must be able to <code class="literal">SET ROLE</code> to the
17    new owning role, and that role must have <code class="literal">CREATE</code>
18    privilege on the operator class's schema.
19    (These restrictions enforce that altering the
20    owner doesn't do anything you couldn't do by dropping and recreating the
21    operator class.  However, a superuser can alter ownership of any operator
22    class anyway.)
