10    <code class="command">ALTER STATISTICS</code> changes the parameters of an existing
11    extended statistics object.  Any parameters not specifically set in the
12    <code class="command">ALTER STATISTICS</code> command retain their prior settings.

14    You must own the statistics object to use <code class="command">ALTER STATISTICS</code>.
15    To change a statistics object's schema, you must also
16    have <code class="literal">CREATE</code> privilege on the new schema.
17    To alter the owner, you must be able to <code class="literal">SET ROLE</code> to the
18    new owning role, and that role must have <code class="literal">CREATE</code>
19    privilege on the statistics object's schema.
20    (These restrictions enforce that altering
21    the owner doesn't do anything you couldn't do by dropping and recreating
22    the statistics object.  However, a superuser can alter ownership of any
23    statistics object anyway.)

40         (Setting to a value of -1 is an obsolete way spelling to get the same
