46 be assigned to an object belonging to the indicated user. There are
47 currently two types of entry: <span class="quote">“<span class="quote">global</span>”</span> entries with
48 <code class="structfield">defaclnamespace</code> = zero, and <span class="quote">“<span class="quote">per-schema</span>”</span> entries
49 that reference a particular schema. If a global entry is present then
50 it <span class="emphasis"><em>overrides</em></span> the normal hard-wired default privileges
51 for the object type. A per-schema entry, if present, represents privileges
52 to be <span class="emphasis"><em>added to</em></span> the global or hard-wired default privileges.
54 Note that when an <acronym class="acronym">ACL</acronym> entry in another catalog is null,
55 it is taken to represent the hard-wired default privileges for its object,
