   5    <code class="command">DROP TRIGGER</code> removes an existing
   6    trigger definition. To execute this command, the current
   7    user must be the owner of the table for which the trigger is defined.

   9       Do not throw an error if the trigger does not exist. A notice is issued

  15       the trigger is defined.

  17       Automatically drop objects that depend on the trigger,
  18       and in turn all objects that depend on those objects

  30    The <code class="command">DROP TRIGGER</code> statement in
  31    <span class="productname">PostgreSQL</span> is incompatible with the SQL
  32    standard.  In the SQL standard, trigger names are not local to
  33    tables, so the command is simply <code class="literal">DROP TRIGGER
  34    <em class="replaceable"><code>name</code></em></code>.
